Produced in 1967, this enjoyable film recounts the story of the Nativity as seen by Simeon, an old man who has been told by God about the coming of the Messiah. This just and devout believer is doubted by his friends and family, but he holds steadfast to the promise that he will see the Christ Child. The story continues with Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem, the birth of Jesus, the arrival of the Magi, and then on to the temple for the presentation before Simeon. Narrated by Bing Crosby with special guest star Frankie Avalon. One DVD. 29 minutes. (Black and White)
