INCREDULITY OF ST. THOMAS FRAMED ARTWORK
This canvas transfer depicts Jesus' appearance to St. Thomas and the other disciples. St. Thomas probes the wound in Jesus' side as Jesus tells him, "You have believed because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe" (John 20: 29). St. Thomas is the patron saint of craftsmen and his feast day is July 3rd. The original work was painted in 1621 by Guercino. It is displayed in a gold frame and measures 24" x 21 1/2".
