The author of this powerful rendering of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is unknown. Words from the Gospel of John appear in Latin across the bottom. It reads, "Sic Deus dilexit mundum" which means, "For God so loved the world." Jesus' wounded heart is illuminated by the light of Truth and blazes with love Tears roll down His face because of the ingratitude with which the world regards Him despite His abiding love for mankind. This picture is framed in a gold solid wood frame with non-glare glass. It measures 14" X 18".
