SAINT CHARBEL (SHARBEL)
St. Charbel (Sharbel) Makhlouf, a Maronite monk from Lebanon was born on May 8, 1828, ordained a priest July 23, 1859, and died December 24, 1898. He was beatified Dec. 5, 1965 by His Holiness Paul VI and canonized Oct. 9, 1977. Framed under glass in a brown frame with gold inner border, easel back, and hooks for hanging,it measures 10 3/4" x 12 3/4".
