100% BEESWAX - GLORIA ANGELS (TE DEUM) - DEVOTIONAL CANDLE
This beeswax devotional candle is encased in a sturdy glass holder with a beautiful image on the front of a detail from the Nativity by Ghirlandaio depicting three angels holding a scroll with Gregorian chant and the words: GLORIA INEXCELSIS DEO which is Latin for Glory to God in the Highest. On the back is the "Te Deum”, a hymn that is said after the second responsory at The Office of Readings in the Liturgy of the Hours on all Sundays outside Lent, and on Solemnities and Feasts as a prayer of thanksgiving.
Hymn reads:
