ARCHANGEL ST. GABRIEL STATUE
Archangel Gabriel is one of three archangels mentioned in Holy Scripture. He is mentioned both in the Old Testament (to the prophet Daniel) and in the New Testament (first to Zacharias Luke 1:13 and then to Mary at the Annunciation, Luke 1:28). In this majestic statue St. Gabriel is depicted in white holding lilies in one hand and a scepter in the other with the words "AVE MARIA" written on the banner. Made of a resin-mix, and beautifully hand-painted with gold accents.
Measures 11" from the base to the tip of the wings; 8¾” from wing to wing; and 3¾” deep.
These statues come from Colombia, S.A. and are meticulously hand-painted by a group of widows that have lost their husbands due to the violence occurring in Colombia.
