• Authentic Discipleship: Following Jesus is more than going to Church and wearing a cross around your neck. It demands a full response to God’s initiative. Jesus invites us: Come Follow me!
• The Power of Words: Change your words and change your life. Our words have power. By our words we will be justified and by our words we will be condemned.
• God will take us Through: Jesus spoke about the end of the world. There will be unprecedented tribulations and deaths. We are not exempt from troubles but Jesus promises that not one hair on our head will perish.
• From Seeker to Disciple: All of us are searching for meaning and happiness. Jesus wants to live in us. When we welcome and receive Him fully we find true joy.
• Discipleship means Relationships: Being a follower of Jesus means striving for harmonious relationships. Christianity is not a privatized religion but one of community. When we follow Jesus authentically, we are kind, communicative and forgiving.
• Thanksgiving is Thanks-living: It is the will of God for us to give thanks in all circumstances. Being thankful means we appreciate the blessings of each day. When we remember God’s goodness, we have gratitude. Thanksgiving leads to abundance.
• Faith lasts Forever: Three virtues last forever: Faith, Hope and Love. Faith unites us with Jesus. Faith is a channel that empowers us to live in a whole new way. Faith in Jesus results in us becoming a new creation and having a new appreciation of self.
• Go low to Go high: What does God require: To walk humbly with God. Humility means we are receptive to God’s truths and willing to accept correction. Jesus washed our feet and asked us to serve others. Humility is the way to being lifted up!
