Frank Duff, best known as founder of the Legion of Mary in Dublin, Ireland, almost 100 years ago, is now a candidate for sainthood. His life and times, and his tireless strivings to begin the organization for Catholic laity in the 1920s, have borne tremendous fruit: the Legion is now worldwide, with over 3 million strong in membership, and 7 million praying members. Its impact upon the serving arm of the Church is incalculable.
