HOLY SPIRIT - NECKTIE
This glossy poly/satin tie features an image of the Holy Spirit depicted as a dove on a dark red/black background pattern of the same image.
Tie measures 3 1/2" W x 56" L.
This depiction of the Holy Spirit is taken from Raphael Sanzio da Urbino's famous "Disputation of the Holy Sacrament", painted between 1509 and 1510. In the full painting, while a group of theologians below is earnestly debating the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, the Dove of the Holy Spirit is shown between Christ in Heaven and Christ in the Monstrance that is the central part of the painting. This symbolizes the Holy Spirit guiding the Church as She preaches the doctrines of the Faith, especially such central teachings as the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
