The subjects represented for the daily Advent devotions are based on meditations from the book, The Jesse Tree: An Advent Devotion by Eric and Suzan Sammons — included with this set.
This practice begins on the First Sunday of Advent and since the number of days in Advent varies from year to year, there is a handy chart included to help you know which ornament to hang on each day.
Each ornament is made of wood and measures 2½” in diameter. (Tree not included)

This tapestry tablet/Bible case features a beautiful image of Madonna and Child originally painted by Giovanni Battista Salvi da Sassoferrato (1609-1685) on both sides. The inside is lined with nylon and has a plastic zipper with a nylon cord handle. This versatile case is also the perfect accessory to carry a notebook, pens, pencils, highlighters, straightedge, page flagging tabs, and other Bible study tools.
