Most commonly attributed to the Italian artist Raphael, this is a detail of the original painting entitled, "Madonna della Rosa" from the 16th century. It depicts the Virgin Mary holding a bare Child Jesus, who is playfully sharing a scroll that appears to read "ECCE AGNUS DEI" (Behold the Lamb of God) with a young John the Baptist. Watching from the background is St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family. This print is framed in a decorative antiqued gold wood frame. It measures 15 3/4" W x 13 3/4"H and has a five-notch sawtooth hanger.
