MINIATURE UKRAINIAN PYSANKY EGGS AND RESURRECTION ICON IN BASKET
These colorful miniature Pysanki wood eggs have been hand painted in the Ukraine with traditional folk and religious symbols and designs. The egg is an ancient symbol of new life and rebirth spanning many religions and cultures. St. Augustine once described Christ's Resurrection from the dead as a chick bursting from an egg.
This set includes five eggs of assorted colors and a beautiful miniature icon the Resurrection in a small basket (basket size and shape may vary slightly).
Each egg measures approximately 1 7/8”H.
