Austin RuseAustin Ruse is an activist, commentator, journalist, and author. He spent many years in the New York magazine world, working at senior levels at Fortune, Forbes, The Atlantic Monthly, even Rolling Stone. After a religious and political conversion, Ruse became a member of a lobbying group at the UN and has served as president of the Center for Family and Human Rights in New York and Washington DC since 2000. He has published four books, including Under Siege: No Finer Time to be a Faithful Catholic, and more than 1,000 columns and essays, mostly at Crisis Magazine where he is a contributing editor. Ruse has lectured all over the world and given hundreds of interviews on radio, podcast, and television. He is a Knight in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and is a founding member of the Diplomatic Society of St. Gabriel. Additionally, Ruse is a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars, and the Society of Catholic Social Scientists.
