OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE STATUE - 9"
In 1846 two French children tending to cattle saw a ball of fire and within the light, a beautiful woman weeping. They understood her to be the Blessed Mother. Our Lady, still weeping, called for the world to return to God.
- She is depicted as the children described her, with a radiant golden crown and garlands of roses on her head, shawl, and feet
- She was crying over the lack of devotion among Catholics and called for a renewal in fervor and recourse to the sacraments of Penance and Holy Eucharist
- Feast Day is September 19th
- Statue is hand painted
- Measures 9” high
- Handmade in Colombia of a plaster resin mix
