MARY AND CHILD SILVER AND GOLD ICON ON FINE WOOD PLAQUE
This beautifully detailed walnut plaque features an icon of the tender image of the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child entitled, Sweet Kissing also known as Loving Kindness. The icon print is covered with an artisan polished .999 pure silver cover also called a riza. The gold details on the silver are effectuated by a process known as Physical Vapor Deposition which also treats the silver with antioxidants that make it virtually unalterable over time.
