RESURRECTION OF CHRIST TRIPTYCH
This beautifully detail icon triptych features an image of the Resurrection of Jesus. It measures 7¾” x 4¾” when opened and 3¾” when closed. The images are printed on gold and silver foil and mounted on hinged wood panels.
On the Center Panel is the Glorified Risen Christ holding the victory banner in His left hand. He is standing on a wooden cross over a great abyss with His hand extended to our ancestors Adam and Eve. Above His head is the Russian text for: Christ’s Resurrection.
On the Left panel is the prophet John the Baptist, a female representing the righteous females of the Old Testament and a King representing Solomen and David.
On the Right Panel is: Moses with the Tablets of the Law; Abraham, our father in faith; and Noah holding the Ark.
