SAN DAMIANO CRUCIFIX - 18"
This beautiful three-dimensional rendition of the San Damiano crucifix is made of resin and measures 17 3/4"H x 13 1/4"W x 1 1/2"W. Today the original cross hangs in Santa Chiarra (St.Clare) Church in Assisi. It was while praying before this cross that Our Lord gave St. Francis of Assisi the commission to go and rebuild the Church! We celebrate St. Francis' feast day on October 4th.
