This nicely detailed pewter medal measures 1 1/8” and comes on an 18” stainless steel chain with clasp. It is packaged with an embossed pamphlet that contains information about St. Agatha and a prayer.
- Agatha, a virgin, lived her life dedicated to God. After rejecting advances from a Roman magistrate and being accused as a Christian, the magistrate ordered her breasts cut off as punishment.
- Saint Peter visited her prison cell and healed Agatha with a “celestial ointment”.
- Her feast day is February 5th.
