This nicely detailed pewter medal measures 1 1/8” and comes on an 18” stainless steel chain with clasp. It is packaged with an embossed pamphlet that contains information about St. Bridget and a prayer.
- St. Bridget was born to a wealthy landowner and was married to Prince Ulfo of Nercia at the age of thirteen.
- After the death of her husband, she turned to a life of religion, rejecting the title of princess. She founded the Order of the Most Holy Savior in Sweden, which still has a few houses remaining today.
- Her feast day is July 23rd.
- St. Bridget is the patron saint of Widows, Europe, and Sweden.
