This nicely detailed pewter medal measures 1 1/8” and comes on an 18” stainless steel chain with clasp. It is packaged with an embossed pamphlet that contains information about St. Cecili and a prayer.
- St. Cecilia promised her virginity to God, but her parents married her anyway. On her wedding day, she played the organ and had her husband baptized.
- When his faith was learned, he was martyred. Cecilia buried her husband and was suffocated and beheaded for the act.
- Her feast day is November 22nd.
- St. Cecilia is the patron saint of Musicians, Poets, Singers, Composers.
