  • He wears black and white colors of the Dominican habit with metallic gold details
  • Through an apparition of the Virgin Mary, Dominic received the form of the Rosary we pray today, so the Holy Rosary is visible hanging from his cincture
  • When she was pregnant with the saint, Dominic’s mother had a dream that her son would be a shining light to the Church. In the dream she saw the moon on his forehead. Later, when Dominic was baptized, it is said that his godmother saw a star shining on his brow
  • Dominic holds a lily, symbolic of holy purity, and a book to symbolize his great knowledge and the written rule of the Dominican order
  • Measures approximately 3½”W x 12”H x 2½”D
  • Handmade in Columbia of a plater resin mix
