This nicely detailed pewter medal measures 1 1/8” and comes on a 18” stainless steel chain with clasp. It is packaged with an embossed pamphlet that contains information about St. Rita and a prayer.
- Born as Margherita Lotti, St. Rita's original goal was to become a nun, but was forced into marriage and raised twin sons, until their deaths.
- She received a spiritual vision in which she received a forehead wound similar to Jesus's after wearing his thorned crown, which was said to bleed for 15 years.
- Her feast day is May 22nd.
