STERLING SILVER WITH WOOL BROWN SCAPULAR NECKLACE - 18"
The Brown Scapular devotion is centuries old, yet rendered timeless in this unique sterling silver scapular, exclusively from St. Michael's Amory. Each scapular is crafted by hand, beginning with sterling silver frames, custom cast in the USA. Using genuine woven wool and specially chosen devotional images each scapular is created with prayer and grace.
- All metal components are sterling silver.
- The scapular insert is made of woven wool with heat applied vinyl image.
- Sterling beaded chain measures 18" on each side.
- Frames are approximately 5/8" wide by 5/8" high.
- Overall total length is approximately 19" for the 18" necklace.
Each scapular is beautifully packaged in a signature gift box (2-7/8"W x 2-5/8"D x 1"H), and includes a paper insert with use and care instructions, as well as the scapular enrollment formula.

The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to the English Carmelite St. Simon Stock in 1251. She held the Infant Jesus in one arm, and the brown wool scapular of the Carmelite Order in the other. Our Lady spoke to the saint saying, "All who die wearing this shall not suffer eternal fire." Originally a Carmelite devotion, over the centuries this devotion was extended to the Universal Church.
Nearly eight centuries later, in Fatima, Our Lady appeared once again, holding the Brown Scapular, to remind us that her mantle of protection is there for all who wish to repent of their sins, and follow her Son, living as her sons and daughters. The Brown Scapular is not a good luck charm or magic talisman. It is a pledge of devotion, a sign of your commitment to faithfully live the Christian life, thus fulfilling your Baptismal vow.
