There is an Irish legend that tells how St. Patrick created the first Celtic Cross by incorporating a circle over the Latin Cross. The circle is a symbol of eternity and the endlessness of God's love. This beautiful cross features several Biblical images. Across the beam from left to right are: David and the Harp, The Last Judgment, and Daniel and the Lions. On the vertical beam from top to bottom are: the Irish faith symbol, St. Paul and St. Timothy, and Jacob wrestling with the angel. Made of fine pewter. Measures 7 3/4".
