The prophet Jeremiah was told before he was formed in his mother’s womb, God knew him. Paul the apostle was set apart before he was born. Ephesians tells us that God specially chose us before the world was created. Jesus says to us, “Come Follow Me.” God had all of us in mind before the world began. Our part is to respond wholeheartedly. In this important series, Fr. Cedric talks about what a call means and breaks our call into many areas such as: Happiness, Moving Forward and Letting Go.
The eight episodes include the following:

• You are Called by Name: Jesus called His disiples and their response was immediate and quick. He invites us by name to come to Him and lay our burdens down. Our call is to be with Jesus and announce Jesus to the world.
• You Can be Happy: The word happiness is related to “happening” and is based on occurrences. Joy is not dependent on fleeting circumstances and endures. The joy of the Lord is our strength. As we keep a good attitude and give thanks, we will experience strength and promotion.
• Let Go and Let’s Go!: Having to let go is part and parcel of being human. As we open the hands of our heart, we will see God at work. God’s plan is for us to move forward and mature as we go. Trust God and let go and He will catch you.
• Don’t Stay Stuck: Everyone feels stuck at times. Some in addictions, others in bad habits, and still others in habitual sins. Jesus comes to bring us change. As we focus on a solution that works, we can move forward in our personal life as well as in our relationships.
• Take Courage it is I: Storms happen in everyone’s life. When the waves beat and the winds are contrary, we can face the storm because Jesus is with us. Jesus’ presence gives us the courage to face our adversities and accomplish our dreams. Be audacious and dare greatly!
• Run to Win: Paul liens discipleship to being an Olympic athlete. Through discipline and self-control we can lead lives of fruitfulness and effectiveness. We strive for an imperishable crown of great value. See what you are made of.
• God’s Not Boring: Our young people are leaving the Church in droves. There are reasons for their departure and reasons for their coming back. Jesus calls them and looks at youth with love. All things are possible for God.
• Live and Learn: Wisdom cries out on the streets and calls us. When we learn her ways, we live lives of common sense and have uncommon wisdom. The wisdom from above leads us to be ready for the judgment and hope to come. We are saved through the wisdom of the cross.
